About Us

Founded in 1973 Jonesboro Tool and Die (JTD) was established to meet the local demand for high-quality tool and die making services. Over the decades, we have evolved into a trusted, family-owned operation committed to precision craftmanship and customer satisfaction.

In 1995 Shannon Lenderman, a second generation machinist, assumed ownership. Growing up on a farm north of Jonesboro, Shannon honed his skills repairing tractors and other farm equipment. His hands on foundation seamlessly translated to him becoming a skilled machinist. Under Shannons leadership, JTD has maintained its small shop feel, where every team member is personally invested in delivering exceptional work.

From the initial modest facility on Commerce Drive, JTD has grown significantly. In 2012 we relocated to a new 23-acre site at 2400 Industrial Drive, followed by five expansions. In late 2025, we acquired an adjacent building at 2200 Industrial Drive, adding 65,000 square feet to house our laser department, CNC forming operations, and raw material storage.

Today, with 88 dedicated employees and over 120 machines on 30 acres, JTD remains a family-owned leader in tool and die manufacturing. We uphold the highest standards of quality, backed by certifications like AS9100, ISO, CMMC, and ITAR to support mission-critical applications in aerospace, defense, and beyond.

JTD Has been in business for over 50 years.

Who We are

Our Skilled Craftsmen Make it All Possible

At Jonesboro Tool and Die Company, Inc., our success rests upon the backs of our machinists and toolmakers. They truly bring every tool to life with a skill set and knowledge base that combines mathematical precision with artistry.

Machinists and toolmakers are hands-on people. They use modern technology every day, but it is the intangible feedback of actually touching the product that the customer will ultimately receive that creates an ownership in their work.
