Jonesboro Tool and Die Co., Inc. was founded in 1973 by John Burris to service the needs of Jonesboro’s burgeoning industrial base. Over the next twenty years, steady growth and an expansion of the customer base was achieved.
In 1995, ownership of the company passed to Shannon Lenderman. Since then, growing business and expansion into new markets required additions to our building. The first occurred in 2000 to facilitate a press department. The second occurred in 2005 to accommodate larger presses and the addition of Blanchard grinding.
In 2012, in lieu of another building expansion, it was decided to relocate to a new location. The 55,000 square foot building was updated and retrofitted to create a showroom-quality tool and die shop. With modern equipment, trained personnel, and room for growth, we are capable of meeting today’s challenges and are poised to take on those of tomorrow.
In June of 2014 Jonesboro Tool & Die took a chance and purchased a Trumpf laser from an auction to produce flat profile blanks. In December of 2016 we added a new 4K Amada Fiber Laser because of the need for more capacity. Due to our steady growth we replaced the Trumpf with a new 6K Amada Fiber Laser in Novemberber of 2018 to produce parts faster to keep up with customer demands. These demands and new customers caused us to install our newest 6K Amada ENSIS Fiber Laser in July of 2019. At this time we also added an additional 9,000 sqft to our building. This addition now houses our raw material, finished goods and shipping and receiving bays. Due to our continued growth it has also opened the doors for us to supply formed parts from our new ACCURPRESS press bakes that were installed in December 2019.
We are striving to strengthen our existing partnerships and look forward to making new ones. Our sales group is ready to provide competitive pricing and show you the customer service that you deserve.
