Two exciting, new pieces of equipment were delivered and came online this month.

An Okuma MULTUS B300II, it has a 225° B-axis range with 6,000 rpm H1-milling spindle with dual function (L/M). The H-1 dual function spindle head utilizes CAPTO-C6 tooling and has a 15/10 hp PREX milling motor spindle [opt: 10,000 rpm - 21/15 hp]. The base offering has 40-tool ATC. The H1-turret has a 0.001-degree B-axis and compound-motion Y-axis for machining flexibility. The main spindle is equipped with a full-contouring C-axis.

Also, the other addition to our quality/reverse engineering department, A Zeiss Condura 6206. The new Zeiss is built for high standards of precision and accuracy in industrial measurement, ensuring reliable and consistent results. The CONTURA helps with data-driven quality control, providing the proof of compliance needed for stringent industries like aerospace, medical, and defense. These additions are part of the continuing investment of Jonesboro Tool and Die to keep our facility State of the art.
